Wednesday Enrichment

Our Wednesday Enrichment Program happens every week – come join us!

Watch for special “Potluck Productions” throughout the school year – details in the Herald & Enlightener.   The poster below was from our final event for the 2016-2017 season.   Watch for our 2017-2018 school year schedule!

For many years, Wednesday evenings have been a beehive of activity at St. John’s with our Enrichment program.  This season we invite you to consider becoming a part of Wednesday activities with choirs, dinner, activities for children, and adult Bible study.

Choirs

Junior Choir – Allison Bruen,  Director
Ages 5 through Grade 7 ~ Sing for worship on the second Sunday of each month
5:30 pm – Meet in Activity Room for beginning activities – Choir Rehearsal (about 5:50 pm to 6-6:30 pm) and Enrichment time to follow.

United Voices – David Furniss, Director

Grades 8 through any age adults ~ Sing for worship on the first Sunday of each month – meet 6:45 – 7:30 pm in the Music Room. This singing group builds community and harmony together through a variety of music, both old and new, world music, etc.

Education and Fellowship

Enrichment Activities for Junior Choir (Age 5 through 7th Grade)
5:30 pm – Arrival in the Activity Room for beginning activities, sharing of joys and concerns, and a small, healthy snack – Choir and Enrichment time to follow

Dinner – Come one, Come all!  about 6:30 pm – 7:00 pm in Assembly Hall

Youth “Hang Out” – Grades 7 – 12 – 5:30 – 6:30 pm 

Enrichment Activity – led by pastor Addie – come hear the “word of the night” and a related story and activities – about 7:00 pm – 7:30 pm, ages 4th – 7th grade.

Additional Wednesday Evening Opportunity:

Adult Bible Study – held in the Fall, the week of VBS in June & during Lent.  Check the Enlightener & Herald for more information.
