The annual Covenant Campaign is a time to consider how you will support St. John’s. While we are worshipping virtually, our ministries, staff and buildings still need sustenance. Each individual covenant is important; together we can ensure St. John’s presence. Remember we are “Journeying in Faith, Through Thick and Thin.” Check out the front page of the October Enlightener for more information. Important Note for Members & Visitors: Many of the pages on this website concerning worship, choirs, groups and activities reflect how this were done at St. John’s prior to the start of the COVID-19 pandemic before March, 2020, and also we are hopeful that we will resume these activities as listed in the future. If you have any questions about the status of any activity listed on this website, please contact the church office. Thank you! Prayer Walking at Whites Road Park continues on the second & fourth Thursday of each month (weather permitting). Meet near the concession stand at 8:00 am; all participants are expected to wear masks. We observe proper physical distancing while meeting & walking, but doesn’t prevent us from benefiting from the beautiful setting in which we will be walking & praying. Do not hesitate to be in touch with Pastor Sue if you would like to learn more about this spiritual practice. Upcoming: Sunday, November 1: Audio of a new service will be posted here that weekend to listen to any time. Return to Eastern Standard Time. Sunday, November 8: Audio of a new service will be posted here that weekend to listen to any time. Our In-Touch Tuesday video is featured on our Facebook page and our website! Zoom is happening Wednesdays at 7:30 pm, ending November 11th, focusing on the Charlie Mackesy book “The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse”. UPDATE: St. John’s building remains closed for in-person worship & most activities, continuing for an indefinite time after that until we are certain we can safely reopen with new safety regulations in place. Montgomery Country entered the ‘green phase’ as of June 26th but it will take more time & planning to reopen for worship. Please know that our staff is meeting online and in small groups, and studying all options as to when and how to reopen, with the personal safety of everyone involved as our top priority! Due to the requests by Pa. Governor Wolf and other government and health officials, St. John’s UCC in Lansdale is conforming with the masking and ‘social distancing’ policies enacted to spread the COVID-19 virus (coronavirus). Until further notice, all events at the church are not being held there, including worship, meetings, classes and any other group gatherings. We will have a new recorded online service you can listen to on this website each Sunday on our Audio-Sermons page. Click to go to Audio – Sermons page of this website.
