Zoom

Advent is the darkest time of the year just when some of us are struggling through a season in which we are told to buy more, give more, make more, and be happy when we may be struggling with loss or depression or pain, or just trying to resist the weight of this time.

In the midst of this, we lean in to the darkness that can help us see what we cannot see in the light. This dark and holy night can even be a night where hope can be born. We lean in to the darkness, as we also lean toward the coming light.

Join us in an online service of reflection, lament, and longing. There will be readings and music and space for personal reflection. You can be on or off camera and choose to either actively participate or just listen.

Psalm 126 reminds us, “Those who sow in tears will reap with shouts of joy.”
