Want to learn more about our church? Here are some general frequently asked questions to get you started.

We currently offer one full service on Sunday mornings at 10:15 am. We also have an abbreviated service on Wednesdays at 7 pm (Labor Day through Memorial Day). Both services are held in the sanctuary.

Yes! We currently offer Sunday School, children’s choir, and VBS. We also include a children’s message at every Sunday service. Our children and youth programs have room to grow, and we are always excited to welcome new families who are interested in getting involved.

Our nursery is not currently staffed during the service, but we are hoping to be able to offer this sometime in the future. Our ability to provide childcare on Sundays depends on the ever-changing needs of our congregation and the availability of qualified volunteers. We are always interested in hearing from families who would benefit from a childcare option (as well as individuals interested in volunteering).

In the meantime, the nursery room is still available for your use as long as a parent or responsible adult stays with your child. We also have a Sunday School program for a portion of our service that is great for kids aged 3-12.

Yes! St. John’s claimed our Open and Affirming congregation identity in 2015. Open and Affirming (ONA) is the United Church of Christ’s (UCC) designation for congregations, campus ministries, and other bodies in the UCC which make a public covenant of welcome into their full life and ministry to persons of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions. St. John’s UCC Lansdale is proud to claim this designation as an Open and Affirming congregation!

Yes, we make audio recordings of our services available each week. Full service audio is available on our website and YouTube channel, and sermon audio is uploaded to Spotify. Though we don’t currently have video or livestreaming, we are looking into it for the future!
