Who We Are?
Young Leaders of St John’s United Church of Christ are a group of teens, ages 13 and up. We also have a group of adult mentors that help us.
When Do We Meet?
Young Leader’s monthly gathering is the Fireside Room on the second Sunday of every month (Sept-June) after 10:15 Worship service; lunch is provided.
What Are We About?
As Young Leaders within the United Church of Christ, we are God’s hands of service, compassion and fellowship in this very day, not just in the future. As a group we strive to build character, grow in our faith, and engage our community in meaningful ways of service.
Our activities always try to focus on:
- Learning about other people and communities
- Growing in Spirit by living in a Justice and Peace-seeking manner
- Taking initiatives to spread God’s Peace and Hope
Our Goal:
