UCC Youth Events

The United Church of Christ holds NYE national youth events every 4 years (the next being July 22 – 25, 2020 at Perdue University in Indiana) and Regional Youth Events (we are part of the Eastern group) every 4 years (the next being in 2022) – watch for details. These events are held every 4 years and bring UCC youth together for 4 days of praise music, worship, challenging speakers, fun and much fellowship!  Watch for youth fundraisers to prepare for attending NYE in 2020.

We will be having a Spud Lunch on November 11th, 2018 as a fundraiser for the next National Youth Event which will be held in July of 2020 at Purdue University.  If your child will be between the ages of 13-18 in July 2020, they are eligible to travel with us and attend the event!  If you are interested in being a part of that group, it is important that you be a part of the fundraising efforts, which are starting now!  Please let Pastor Addie know if you are interested in going to National Youth Event so she knows who to keep in the loop as more information is made available!

The most recent United Church Of Christ National Youth Event (NYE) 2016 was held at Walt Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, Florida from July 26 through July 29, 2016.

In the Summer of 2016, our delegation of 16 youth & chaperones attended the UCC National Youth Event at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. It was a fast, intense week of high energy praise music, powerful speakers, purposeful workshops & above all fun & fellowship meeting new friends from around the country & catching up with friends from past UCC gatherings.
