Self-Supervised Nursery (and options if your child is ‘restless’ during the service)
For Parents and Responsible Family Members:
Our church nursery is open on a Sunday morning during the 10:15 am worship service for you to use, staying with your child, if your little one needs a break. No supervising volunteers are on duty, so a parent, grandparent, or responsible adult must stay with their child. If you are in the back of the sanctuary, you can also go out the doors to the Narthex if your child needs a quick time out of the sanctuary. To find the nursery, leave the sanctuary by the door on the right side of the front of the room, go down the hall past the mailboxes, outside doors and the elevator, and the nursery is on your right. A hospitality team member can assist you.
The Nursery and the Narthex are equipped with speakers so you can hear the worship service from the sanctuary should you need to leave and make use of those areas.
School age children are encouraged to sit and worship with their parents or family members or with the families of their friends. There is a Children’s Message during the service when children are encouraged to come to the front of the church for a message and a prayer geared toward children. On selected Sundays the children also participate as part of the Children’s Choir.
A hospitality team member can help you locate these bags.
